I work at the intersection of microscopy, optics, sciencefilm and science-fiction. Combining physical chemistry, optics and high-speed photography, I study the detailed visual configurations found in chemical interactions and potentials of (in)organic compounds and fluids.

Revealing an inexhaustible collection of arcane forms and weird textures, my work bears many resemblences to artifacts found in the natural world. the artifacts on these pages are, however, entirely hand-made.

In addition to this work I have been active in academic programs for over 16 years. This included a mentorship, performance and theatre-based projects and basic skillset instructions for both the MA and Bfa program of the Interfaculty artscience. In the context of this department I also developed and promoted the study of sensory and poetic translations of landscape and landscape narratives

My work has been included in a number of publications. Amongst others; the Dark Mountain project book series and the 2nd Antarktikos book

Marineris is a moniker, created for the sole purpose of making faces and sentient beings
